How can we argue that Scottie has been the victim of 'castration anxiety'?

* 'Rescuing' Madeline
* Changing Judy
Focus on micro and macro elements in your answer. Also comment on the techniques employed by Hitchcock to convey the sense of Scottie's helplessness and lack of control
